Stacy Goes Pop In Latest Album

Stacy (real name Stracie Angie Anam) has grown to become a household name in the local music industry. The Malaysian queen of dance from the Land Below the Wind shines ever brighter, enjoying one success after the other and strengthening her foothold in the music industry.

As the former champion of TV’s Akademi Fantasia turns 24 this year, Stacy now returns with a brand new album, titled ‘#1’.

Stacy’s third effort boasts 10 new songs from the genre of ‘pop’, written, composed and produced by some of the country’s biggest names in music. The album also sees Stacy’s debut as a songwriter, whereby she wrote one of the tracks from the album, titled ‘Gila Lah’ - currently enjoying massive airplay on radio. 

Speaking on her new album, Stacy said, “This album is a gift and token of my appreciation towards my fans who have supported me for as long as I have been involved in the music industry.”

She also aims to keep working hard to make more music that she hopes to be of better quality in the future.
Meanwhile, Astro GenNext Business vice president Putri Yasmin Megat Zaharuddin said, “Experience has helped Stacy grow into a more mature entertainer.

Stacy is listed in the Top 5 Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH) 2013, a sixth time she is being included in the list ever since she got involved in the entertainment industry. (newsarawaktribune)
